Despite my late check-in, the folks at Middle Flass Lodge were ready to go. Very friendly and I was made to feel immediately welcome into their place. Classic and quaint.
I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free.

The Stirk House is an absolutely beauty. It’s located in a picturesque setting surrounded by fields and sheep. If you want a low key, peaceful country setting with an amazing staff and restaurant, you found it! We loved staying here and definitely plan to come back. Lots of room to roam, walking paths and countryside roads to explore. Also, plenty of free parking was very nice. 10 / 10
Beautiful location in the Ribble Valley. Hotel nicely seperated from pub/restaurant area but all in the same building. Great food in the restaurant. If the weather is good, there are some nice walks leaving from the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was fantastic and exceeded expectations , wish we could have stayed longer !! Staff was friendly and helpful , breakfast was delicious and rooms were clean and spacious. Shower and bathroom also excellent and roomy
I've stayed here several times for work and I've always had a great time. The rooms are very well appointed and have a premium feel. The beds are comfy and the air con is excellent, I was able to get the room lovely and cool for sleeping.
The hotel gym is very nice to have and breakfast is very good too. Definitely my favourite hotel in the area and my go-to when in the area for work
