We stayed at this 'airport' apartment for one night before an early flight. As we had just finished a tour, off a cruise ship, we were dropped at the airport. We got a taxi from there and put the address in for the taxi driver. He did not speak English. We were dropped off in a spot that was nowhere near the apartment. He charged us 85 Euros for what should have been a 25 Euro trip. We did ended up paying 50 Euros as we had 4 pieces of luggage. As we could not find the apartment, we called the number given and were told how to get there. It was a very hot day and we walked a good 40 minutes, hauling our luggage! All this to say, make sure you book a taxi via the property manager! The airport taxi drivers have no meter and basically can rip you off!
Once in the apartment (thankfully, there is an elevator) we were pleased with the space, comfort and cleanliness! The property manager was easy to communicate with and was very helpful. We are thankful that he booked our early taxi for the next morning, costing 25 Euros!
The apartment has the basics and was very spacious. We ate a late lunch in the little town at Sofiano's - American -not Greek food. We got a snack for dinner at the little supermarket. Both the wait staff and the supermarket cashier were helpful and spoke English.
We could not figure out how to work the oven - different from ours - so it would be useful to have some notes left in the apartment about its use.
The apartment is in a quiet town close to the airport.
