It was super cheap for a reason. The place looked not only closed but condemned from the outside. The parking lot was virtually empty. Staff was unfriendly, objectively odd, and it felt like there were illegal things going on. Nothing felt normal about this place. It felt unsafe. One couple that was trying to check out told us they had several incorrect charges on their credit card, but they couldn’t find the front desk person, and she didn’t speak English anyway the front desk person in the morning, and I see this with no unkind intentions, looked like some sort of terrified gray zombie person. She came to the door to get our key cards with wild eyes, waving her hands outstretched to grab the card, and muttering something with a bit of craziness in her voice. When we returned to the hotel after our concert, there was suspicious activity in a room, close to ours, with a car, pulling up, a young woman getting out and running to a door while another young woman waited in the car. The whole scene was sketchy. We tried to watch TV at night, and suddenly all the channels were fuzzy, like an old TV with a broken antenna from 1986. There was no fixing it. The signal just got wonky. The building next door that appeared to be part of the motel was absolutely dilapidated. I cannot believe this thing was available on hotels.com. Something is not right with this property.
