Wonderful hotel

Amazing hotel with great location, friendly staff, beautiful decor and a very good breakfast. We have stayed in lots of hotels and B&Bs and this was one of the best. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Astoria. The staff was very helpful, & professional. The room was very clean & comfortable. The shower was small for my tall husband, but he managed well. The breakfast buffet was included, and had a great selection of food. The location was excellent- near restaurants, the lake, and many shops. We had to walk up steps to get to the lobby, then alot of steps to get to the first floor where our room was. We aren't sure how handicapped guests get to the rooms, but we didn't need that information, so we didn't check. We would recommend this hotel to everyone, and we would stay here again as well!

Nice location close to water and restaurants. In our room, the window opens directly into the hotels public terrace, so people on the terrace could look directly in…and could even climb in the room. This forced us to keep window closed and blinds pulled most of the time, which kind of defeats the purpose of the location. Everything else about the place is great, and I’m sure no other rooms have the same issue.

Small hotel in a very good location

Nice small hotel close to the lake and short walk from the bus station, the ideal place to explore surrounding Lake Garda without a car. For our stay the air conditioning was broken, and it was not proactively mentioned at check-in. Luckily it was not a hot week, but we still had to deal with some noise due to keeping the window open. Room was small but cozy, there could be more room for luggage. Everything was clean and in good condition in the room. Special plus for the fact that this hotel is part of a tourism association which organises free excursions on most days.

Nice, but not great

The accommodation was clean and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately a couple of things let’s this hotel down. If your larger than normal, you will seriously struggle with the size of the shower, it was about 600mm square. Not easy showering. The rooms are “compact”, and this impacts the noise coming from other guests next door. If you can get over this, the hotel is central and the parking is 5 minutes walk, but it is in a public car park.

Hotellet ligger nydelg plassert midt på torget i Garda, 30 m fra vannkanten. Personalet var vennlige og hjelpsomme. Frokosten var enkel men hadde et godt kontinentalt utvalg og også yogurt, juice, kaker og crossaints. Man ser ikke mye av innsjøen fra rommene, men går man ut på takterrassen over frokostsalen har man utsikt over torget og Gardasjøen.Der er solsenger, bord og stoler til fri bruk 👍 Det er ganske lytt mellom rommene, man hører naboene prate, men det er lite støy fra gatene utenfor. Aircondition virket godt, og det er bra siden vi fikk 40 grader under oppholdet i Garda 😅 Sengen var veldig god! Rommet var rent og ryddig uten insekter,men noen vegger burde nok snart fått et nytt strøk maling for å dekke over skraper og sorte merker. Alle kraner på badene var nedslitt ytterbelegg/litt sandpapir-aktige og litt ekle å ta på- burde nok med fordel skiftes ut med nye slik de også er lettere å holde rene. Dusjen er liten! Jeg er en dame på 171 cm og 68 kg. Jeg hadde ikke problem å gå inn og ut dørene, men tanken slo meg at her er det begrensninger på hvem som kommer seg inn... jeg slo albuene i veggene når jeg vasket håret, vil anslå dusjen var maks 70x70 cm? Kanskje til og med 65x65? (Her kunne de med fordel tatt bort bidéet for å få plass til en større dusj) Rommet hadde et lite kjøleskap slik at man kunne ha noen få flasker kalde👍 3-4 minutter å gå til badeplasser i innsjøen. Alt i alt et veldig hyggelig opphold på et koselig hotell som ligger perfekt plassert☀️

Nem at finde lige midt i centrum. Gratis parkering 700 meter fra hotellet. Fantastisk service hele vejen igennem. Terrasse med udsigt til Gardasøen. Fantastisk god morgenmad samt rigtig gode senge. Kan varmt anbefales.

Total liebe MitarbeiterInnen, toller Service, Kundenorientiertheit. Die menschliche Seite war großartig. Sensationelle Lage. Nur 3 Fußminuten von der zentalen Bushaltestelle entfernt (Flixbus). Mitten in der Altstadt am See, direkt am Rathausplatz gelegen. Besser geht es nicht. Ein sauberes, modernes 3-Sterne Haus. Funktional, die Zimmer ohne Schnick-Schnack (einfachste Kategorie). Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den See und den Rathausplatz. Für mich ist das Haus fortan die allererste Wahl in Garda.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war überaus freundlich. Schon vor der Anreise nahm man Kontakt mit mir auf. Das Hotel liegt fast an der Uferpromenade, wo sich viele Speiselokale befinden, es liegt äußerst zentral. Dennoch liegt das Hotel sehr ruhig. Ich bin mit dem Bus angereist. Der Busbahnhof liegt gut erreichbar vom Hotel in kurzer Distanz. Ich habe mich in dem Hotel wohl gefühlt.

Personale disponibile e cordiale. Hanno avuto la super disponibilità per aiutarci negli orari d’arrivo che non sono stati semplici ed hanno risolto tutto con estrema gentilezza. La posizione è ottima e la colazione a buffet eccellente. Il parcheggio un po’ scomodo ma come è normale in una località turistica come Garda. Consigliatissimo
