Honestly the hotel was good and location even better. My problems started in the morning when the electricity went out. There was no back up and the breakfast was very limited and the coffee machines weren't working. The water heaters weren't working so we could only take a cold shower. The staff did what they could and we're friendly but I sent a message to the hotel to ask if they would be offering some kind of compensation because the amenities we thought we were paying a little extra for we're not available. Modern Luxury Hotel is conveniently located close to the board walk overlooking the sea. I enjoyed walking to the Aristotle Square and from there towards the White Castle and the Archeological Museum. As for the hotel, the room was quaint. I was by myself so I didn't need much. I appreciated the breakfast buffet with various choices including Greek pastries. It starts the day off right. I appreciated a drink at the bar in which the young woman who worked there proved to be courteous and welcoming. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked for a taxi and I needed to get back to a parking lot at the airport to meet friends rather than the usual departure area and I asked her to let the taxi driver know that since I don't speak Greek, and she took care of it. That was in a nutshell my experience over two days, the people who worked there proved to be polite, welcoming and efficient and run what I would call a "tight ship."

Very nice hotel and centrally located. Felt safe for two ladies traveling and we both very much enjoyed the breakfast they supplied. The room we stayed in was nice & big--had a main room with a king bed and then a second smaller room with a queen. All in all, this property was quite lovely! The only thing that was odd was not having a shower. There was a large, strong powered jacuzzi tub within the bathroom, but just a hand sprayer attached to it. I guess standing showers aren't super common in Greece, as this was the second property we stayed in that had this situation. Just a little different to have to sit down in a bathtub to spray yourself down and shower. I'd get better at it if I stayed longer for sure. Lovely property though and I do recommend!

ImposSible to sleep due to the street

There is so much noise coming from the street that it is just impossible to sleep. It can not be considered as an hotel as it is impossible to rest and sleep It was a normal day and the trafic in the street is dense all night long
