Good spot but very expensive

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights but it certainly isn’t 5* but the restaurant prices are for mediocre food! We were on B&B basis thankfully so after first night ate out at excellent local restaurants at sensible prices. You need reef shoes on the beach and in the lagoon but even just standing you can see a great array of fish so snorkelling is excellent. We even saw a humpback whale just beyond the reef.

Excellent breakfast, lots of drink choices and smoothies. Pool was great, didn’t have any challenges getting a sunbed. The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation. Buffet was good but limited selection if you are, or have, a picky eater.

Mixed experience

Lovely location and staff were all very helpful and friendly, food was also good. However as other reviews have said the rooms could certainly do with an update, they're not 5 star quality. Also it was our honeymoon which we'd told them before arriving - they said by email that we could have some 'freebies' on production of our marriage certificate but there was no mention of it when we checked in or at any other point during our stay and so we were never given the opportunity to prove that it was our honeymoon and receive whatever 'freebies' they were offering. In comparison, the hotel where we stayed next in Mauritius offered us on arrival the opportunity to have a complimentary candle-lit dinner and provided us with champagne and other gifts, without requiring us to prove that it was our honeymoon.

This is the place to be. Make sure to book a massage in the free nature which includes the sound of the sea, the birds and the wind. Comes close to heaven.

We had a good stay but this is not a 5 star hotel! Peeling paint, smallish dark rooms that haven't been updated since a very long time and all that not exactly cheap. Breakfast was not bad, we had dinner once and that was pricey but good. All up it seemed tired and in need of renovations.

Hotellet lever ikke opp til standarden til 5 stjernes hotell. Det er slitt og trenger litt renovering. De fleste i resepsjonen var hyggelige unntatt en som var veldig uhøflig mot min datter på 9 år. Renholdspersonalet glemte hver dag å fylle på enten håndklær, toalettpapir osv, en dag da vi hadde ikke forstyrr skiltet på døra så banket hun på og lurte på om vi skulle gå snart slik at hun kunne vaske, dette ville ikke skjedd på et 5 stjerners hotell. Veldig fin strand og bassengområde Veldig dyrt med taxi

Wir waren begeistert vom ersten Eindruck. Es ist ein wunderschönes Hotel, mit toller Lage. Allerdings sind die Zimmer leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung wäre dringend nötig. Das Frühstück war gut und es hatte für jeden etwas da. Vor allem das frische Brot schmeckte sehr gut. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis finden wir gemäss dem Zustand der Zimmer im oberen Rahmen.

Super Hotel, le personnel d’une gentillesse et d’une politesse petit-déjeuner à volonté. Très bon chambre, très propre. Faites tous les jours que ce soit à l’accueil ou la relation clientèle. Tout était parfait. Je venais pour la deuxième fois et je reviendrai c’est sûr.

Tolles Hotel, mit excellentem Service und sehr gutem Essen. Der Strand ist wunderschön. Die Anlage ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen hat aber ist immer noch eine absolute Empfehlung wert!
