Great place to stay while visiting NMU. Staff was great and the rooms were comfy. Stayed right after the belong snowstorm and the parking lots were clear and mostly ice free. Breakfast was good. Pool and sauna were nice, unfortunately the hot tub jets weren’t working well but the staff let us know when we checked in and apologized, so it wasn’t a big deal. It’s an older style hotel that is in great condition and worked great for us! We will likely stay there again!

I’m a platinum member of Hotels.com. I’ve been with them forever. I made this booking an error and somehow after 30 minutes I couldn’t get it canceled. I couldn’t get it refunded so very disappointed in the property and I doubt I’ll ever stay there again.

Hot tub was not warm enough and the pool even advertised as being heated was too cold for me to swim in. The pool and hot tub both need a deep clean to remove stains and sand and dirt especially around the stairs. The pool room is in need of repair. Had to call the fro t desk to fix the shampoo and conditioner dispensers In my room but the rest of my room was good. Comfortable bed and pillows, nice fresh bedding. Bathtub was clean and was a soaking tub. My room smelled nice, heater and air conditioning worked perfectly, I was very comfortable. The employees were wonderful! Positive attitudes, smiles, very respectful and helpful. Oh and one more thing; bring you own snacks because there are NO vending machines in the building. 😢
