The hotel's a little dated. The carpet in our room was ripped. Upon arriving, the air conditioner cover was unattached on the floor. They charge $5 for parking. This is a suburban hotel with plenty of parking - a surplus of spots for all the guests but they still charge you $5. When they checked us in at the front desk they told us they upgraded our room which turned out to be untrue.

Why is a parking fee necessary in a shared lot?

This is an older property that they have kept up with. The stay was comfortable. I do not understand why theres a parking fee just to be there though. Checking in late you need to pay parking and a security deposit just to check in and go to sleep
