We spent 5 wonderful days at Iberotel Makadi Beach and loved every moment. The beach was stunning, the food excellent, and the staff professional and genuinely helpful. Everything was well-managed and we felt truly well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we'll definitely be back!

A fantastic holiday made all the better by the staff. Mahmoud and Ahmed in the dining room always greeted us as if we were old friends. Amazing selection of food, always fresh. Spotless facilities, complimentary masks for snorkeling, daily fresh beach towels. This was an exceptional holiday.

Everything about my stay was more than perfect! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything I needed. Every single member of the team, including the front desk staff, made me feel truly valued and comfortable throughout my stay. The food was absolutely amazing with a great variety and excellent quality every day. The pool restaurant was one of my favorite spots — beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The sandy beach was perfect, clean, relaxing, and ideal for enjoying the sea peacefully. One of the best things about this hotel is how quiet and peaceful the whole place is, making it perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. I especially loved the stunning garden and sea views. A very special thanks goes to the animation team, especially Rita and Islam, for their energy, kindness, and the fun atmosphere they created every day. I had an incredible experience and will definitely come back again!

The check-in process was really smooth and easy. Mr. Amr and the manager Mr. Mina were able to take our disabilities into account and ensure that our needs were met. The food was excellent all of the servers and the wait staff and the support staff were amazing! Our rooms were tidied and cleaned every single day, and there was never request that we made that they didn’t immediately take care of. They are amazing! My son had a medical emergency on the trip and the hotel staff, including Mr. Ashraf Moh, Mr. Mina and Mr. Amr asked about him every single day. They even called our room to ask us if there was anything we needed for my son to make our stay easier while he was ill. Any request I made pertaining to my son’s illness, they took care of immediately with grace and great respect. This hotel didn’t just make me feel like a guest they made me feel like family! They are super attentive, respectful, and kind! The facilities are absolutely beautiful and well taken care of my kids really enjoyed the pool and the beach so much! The way they treated my family and I has ensured that I will never stay anywhere else when vacationing in Hurghada/ Makadi!

Nice hotel, not the newest anymore but well maintained. We really enjoined our stay! One minor complaint: the airco in our room was very noisy…

The staff is very friendly. The chef reacted nicely and quickly to have a specific meal. This is the number one destination in the Makadi area, in my opinion.

High end hotel with very helpful staff. Only issue is the WiFi internet, which is not a hotel issue rather an internet provider problem

Best staff, beautiful hotel

Loved the beautiful gardens, the beach, the pools and the relaxed and calm atmosphere compared to other hotels in the resort, all adding up to a truly refreshing stay. The food was also fantastic quality, make sure you book at the Arabesque restaurant for a try highlight. Only one minor issue was the cheap wardrobe doors which banged and clashed with the drawers, minor things but stands out against the otherwise excellent quality of the room, maintained to the highest standard by Mohsan (master of the towel art!) and the team.Above everything though, this hotel is all about the staff: you will not find a happier, friendlier, eager-to-please and personable bunch anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return trip

6/10 Good

Beautiful resort, but the hospitality needs improvement I recently stayed at Iberotel Makadi Beach, and while the resort itself is stunning, there were a few experiences that left me disappointed. Pros: The environment is serene and well-kept. The beach was absolutely breathtaking — crystal clear water and soft sand made for a perfect escape. My room was phenomenal — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a 5-star setup in terms of accommodations and scenery. Cons: The food was just average, especially considering this is supposed to be one of the top Jaz resorts. I expected better variety and quality. One major issue I encountered was the attitude of the staff. As someone from the Middle East, I felt there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality extended toward me and others like me. The difference in how we were treated compared to European guests was very clear, and frankly, disheartening. The resort atmosphere is also extremely quiet and geared toward older guests. If you’re looking for fun or youthful energy, this may not be the right spot. Another major downside is the location — it’s quite isolated. If you want to explore or go anywhere, you’ll have to rely on taxis, and unfortunately, they tend to overcharge, especially when they know you’re a tourist. Lastly, the management felt cold and distant. During check-out, there was no farewell, no smile, no thank you for staying — just a quick transaction. Hossam, the manager, in particular, cam

4/10 Fair

The hotel was very nice and the staff were great but …… I ate at the evening buffet and bbq. 29/06/2026 In the middle of the night some 4/5 hours later I was continually sick and this continued for 3 days. I suspect it was either the quail on the bbq or the ice in drinks. The ONLY place I ate or drank was the hotel. Company needs to review is hygiene standards, the last 4 days have been terrible. In additional we paid for a late check out as I could not leave the room. Ironic as the hotel caused the sickness.
