We had the MacKinnon room. It was a beautiful room with a great view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom floors were heated. The window only opens a crack and bugs and flies get in because they dont have any screens. Great water pressure. There is a steam room and sauna that you can use. There was only one guy working the desk and the bar.ans was able to handle my request for a fan quickly. The breakfast that was included was delicious. They have really good food and service in there. I would recommend this property.

We had the deluxe suite, which included free use of the spa facilities (sauna and steam room, with cold dunk and shower). The room, though up three flights of stairs, was lovely and spacious with a wonderful view and emperor bed. Breakfast each day was delivered to our door and very delicious and ample.

We stayed 2 nights at the House of Juniper and loved every second. The staff and owners were so welcoming and kind, and the house/grounds itself are beautiful. The room was gorgeous, with small attention to detail and style that made our stay that much more enjoyable. The restaurant had just opened when we stayed, and we agreed that the Sunday roast was one of the best that we have in the UK. The complimentary breakfast menu was also above and beyond what we were expecting, with fresh local ingredients on offer. We have already recommended House of Juniper to our friends and family, and will most definitely be back ourselves. 10/10!

Superb in every way. This boutique hotel is new, and the place is immaculate, with attention paid to details like robes, espresso machines, heated towel racks in the rooms and more. Views overlooking the water; most comfortable beds ever! We felt totally pampered! Spa includes steam room and sauna- and was exceptionally clean and inviting. Location is quiet and away from the fray of Portree yet has all the conveniences nearby. On site restaurant is excellent!! Breakfast was included in our stay, and was delicious, presented beautifully. They’ve anticipated details like having a rinse off outdoor shower and gear drying racks for muddy bikers and hikers. Can’t rave enough about this exceptional accommodation!

La chambre située au rez-de-chaussée est spacieuse et plutôt bien insonorisée . Par contre la salle de bain est petite. Le matelas présente des signes de fatigue. Le mini frigo n’est pas opérationnel si la carte électronique d’accès à la chambre n’est pas dans le lecteur. C’est gênant. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas extraordinaire. Un minium de produit est mis à disposition en libre service et il faut réclamer pour avoir du pain toasté. L’établissement dispose d’un sauna et d’un bain de vapeur. Le fonctionnement de ces équipements manque d’explications. Il convient de s’assurer qu’ils sont opérationnels avant d’y aller sinon prévoir environ 1/2heure de chauffe. Autour de l’établissement il y a d’autre restaurants. Il est fortement recommandé de réserver, l’endroit est assez touristique. À proximité il y a un supermarché et une station essence

Perfect spot to just breathe and enjoy the moment

Four of us (all adults) stayed two nights here and had booked the hotel months in advance. This was our favorite hotel on our 10-day trip through England and Scotland ... it's beautiful and provides the perfect spot to just breathe and watch the sun set near the water. The chickens and ducks provided an entertaining start to each morning! The bed was so comfortable and the room was decorated simply, but beautifully. We ate dinner at the Sprig restaurant and really enjoyed it, especially the sticky toffee pudding! The location was fantastic, too ... we easily caught a bus from the ferry in Armadale to get there, to Portree for a tour of the Isle, and to Kyle of Lochalsh ... it was an easy base of our adventure!
