The room cleanliness was so so. The room itself was tiny. As in extremely tiny - we are used to small European hotel rooms but we could not even access the bed from both sides. Single chair, small desk, small wardrobe, portable air conditioner that was not set up. Windows were very dirty - could not see well through them. Our room was supposed to have castle view but it did not - perhaps in the winter when the leaves fall off. Bathroom was nice and almost as big as the room. Good water pressure. Location was convenient - walking distance to the Loreto, castle, and the New World. A tram stop right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Nothing amazing but we found things to eat just fine. Oh, and the pillows were awful. Huge and lumpy. Personally, while I liked the location and the young gentleman at the reception, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The best thing this place has going is the staff. They were very helpful within their capabilities. When I arrived, it was a cool night and the heater in my room did not work. When I asked for an additional blanket, none could be provided. The staff unknowing to me, provided me with a space heater that they were themselves using the keep warm at the front desk. The food was unappetizing, lukewarm at best and the coffee machine worked intermittently. Overall, underwhelming especially given the price, even by Prague standards. The location is good if you are wanting to visit the Castle and a tramway stop is just outside the hotel. The public transit system is nothing short of excellent.

Staff was always courteous and friendly. Breakfast buffet was a FEAST! Huge selection of dishes, great ambiance for the occasion. One negative comment but very important to know if driving is the location and access to the driveway. This information should be shared when booking. There is only one access driveway, no parking or stopping on the street in front of hotel. The driveway is not clearly marked to start. It is only wide enough for one car .it is situated at the corner of a busy intersection with traffic lights, curbs and people standing there waiting to cross the intersection. We spent almost 10 minutes trying to figure out you must maneuver these hurdles and it was nerve wracking coming and going with this unmarked driveway.

WIFI is non existing, hotel is decent

The hotel lies outside of where "stuff" happens - so be prepared for long walks up and down steep hills. On the plus side there are almost no traffic so you can sleep with windows open easily. The hotel is old'ish and could do with a refurb. The wifi they advertise is amongst the worst wifi's I have had the "pleasure" of using on a hotel. Either their router is in the lobby and they have no repeaters - or its just very poor. The fact is that our plans about watching a movie at night was not possible - speedtest said around 1KB/s - so we had to use our data plans. The staff was not very friendly, but not unfriendly either - which I think might be caused by their english not being very good. ( I am not a native english speaker myself). We had a room just next to the elevator, which was not ideal since the elvator made a lot of noise every time it was used, so it was hard to fall asleep. The morning buffet was realitively good considering the price - lots of local treats. Overall a good experience - but if I had to stay here again - I would ask for a room furthest away from the elevator - and a room where the wifi was actually working.

The hotel looks nice on the website, but our room had no power in the front entry and the TV didn't work. I told the person at the front desk about the issue and was told it would be looked into. When we returned later in the day, nothing had changed and there were still no lights or TV. Mentioned it again to the same person at the front desk and he acted surprised as if it was the first he had heard of it. The shower did not drain properly and I was standing in two inches of soapy water by the end. Every single time. Do not recommend.
