My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Godley Manor to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The manor is charming and the staff is friendly. It’s at a convenient location, just a couple blocks away from Forsyth Park. Our room (305) was elegant, spacious, and the highlight was the private bathroom which has a clawfoot tub and a walk-in glass shower! A simple breakfast was provided, such as fruit, pastries, bagels, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, cereal, and yogurt, as well as a selection of drinks like coffee, tea, orange juice, and milk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it for a romantic getaway in historic Savannah.

What an amazing place to stay! The house is beautiful, and everyone was so kind and helpful, as well as accommodating to our schedules and needs. Our room was absolutely perfect, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We have zero regrets choosing to stay at Godley Manor instead of a hotel! The only small downsides were slight noise from the street during the night, and the door to our room sticking and requiring quite a bit of force to open and close. Still, overall would 100% recommend!

“Perfect is an understatement! Great location close to parks and surrounded by beautiful tree-shaded streets. My check-in was handled smoothly and the staff was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Very quiet and wonderful for getting rest after a day of enjoying Savannah. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and beautifully decorated as well as the common areas. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of options. We will absolutely return.

When amazing historical houses like this exist, I truly have no idea how someone would prefer to stay at a chain hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the property felt incredibly homey, and you’re walking distance to many of the awesome entertainment options in Savannah.
