Check in was bad. No one at desk when i walked in. So i rang the bell. Then i hear a toilet flush, and older woman with a heavy german accent walks out. Mind you it was toilet flush then immediately walk out. Didnt hear her wash her hands. Then she wanted my ID and credit card? She photo copies my ID, which is usally the first sign that this isnt going to be a nice place. Im given a key, and told my room is in the back of the lot on the third floor. I walk out and see the stairs to the third floor. Close to 100 steps straight up. Metal see through steps. Lets just say if you're afraid of heights , this wouldnt be good for you, or just out of shape for that matter. I had a large luggage case, my laptop bag, and some food to haul up. Made it into room, room was very clean, smelled good, but very dated. 97 degrees outside when i checked in, and ac in room wasnt working that great. I wont stay here again, and i was in town for work for 1 night and just looking for something reasonably priced. Height if tourism season makes it hard to fibd something decently priced, but im convinced there has to be something better in town for nearly same rate.
