Great budget stay in a convenient location in Merritt! While at first glance this property may not catch your attention it is lovingly cared for and well kept. The rooms were very quiet considering the proximity to a busy route and age of the property. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and dishes. Beds were comfortable with a surprising pillow menu.

6/10 Good

Overall this is a grand lady that has seen better days. It is an old tired building in need of a serious refresh. You can see that the staff do what they can to keep the place clean and maintained but the infrastructure lets them down. I would however stay there again because in spite of the run down facilities it was clean and the bed was very comfortable, and the price was reasonable. Be warned however, bed linen is over bleached so if you have scent allergies l recommend you don’t stay there.
