Pula is wonderful, and the location of this apartment was superb, between the arena and the main Roman gate. There is also a related hostel location nearby where we were allowed to store our luggage before a flight later in the day. And there is a restaurant very near (Kavana) that serves the best breakfast/brunch in all of Croatia!

Although the outside of the accommodation looked tired, the room's themselves were great. Rooms were clean with plenty of room for suitcase's and hangers in the wardrobe, the ensuite bathroom was excellent. The kitchen had plenty of amenities, kettle, microwave, toaster and oven and hob, and a breakfast bar. The location is perfect about a 5 minute walk to the colesseum and almost directly across from the entrance to the tunnels, and the harbour with the sightseeing boats only about 8 minutes minutes away. Altogether a great trip and place to stay.

We were stopping in Pula just for an overnight stay. Polisana rooms were very close to the ferry port and he was an easy walk to and from the ferry. We loved that we had to walk right past the arena to get to our rooms. There was an excellent restaurant nearby where we had our first take of fried calamari and cevapi. One of my friends left her phone in the room and our hostess was very helpful at getting it back to us. We almost wish we could have stayed a little longer in Pula.

2nd floor - something to be aware of if mobility is an issue. Building hard to find as no sign on the door outside - you’re looking for a blue door. Rooms are set out like hotel rooms within what would have once been an apartment, perfectly decorated, could not fault cleanliness and facilities. Room had fridge, kettle, TV, desk. Shower room (reported noisy fan). Room very good size. 3 rooms in total and a shared communal kitchen area too which was an added bonus as we could make our own breakfast here rather than buying something out, had we realised this we’d have likely prepped dinner in here too. Location is fabulous - you can’t really get any closer to the sites, car park not far from apartments (road parallel behind) Staff wonderful and helpful ☺️ If I was to stay in Pula again and didn’t have an issue with stairs I would most definitely return to this accommodation.

The check in instructions were extremely clear and communicated in good time. The staff were extremely friendly and on hand to help with all a queries. The location of the room was extremely central, with good amenities within a short walk. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a shared communal kitchen which was kept clean for the entire trip. If I were to return to Pula I would definitely choose Polesana rooms again!!
