A lovely, quirky little hotel. Wonderful breakfast, very clean rooms, excellent service and walking distance to all the major attractions (approximately 30 minutes average). Roof terrace is gorgeous and a lovely venue for breakfast and for relaxing in the evening.

A hidden gem!

Our overnight at this hotel was fantastic! Our room was ready early and they let us check in as soon as we arrived. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay between our cruise and flight home. It is perfectly located in Trastevere. It’s a quiet location close to everything you could want. We spent the day walking most of Rome and (if possible) the hotel felt central to both the coliseum and the Vatican! Prior to our cruise we spent 6 nights at a different hotel in near Piazza Barberini…. I only wish we had stayed here the entire time!!

Very small and comfy hotel. Only 6 rooms make it a perfect stay for couples. Very family with a quiet an private rooftop space to enjoy the evening. But beware that Travestere can be noisy at the weekends, because many the Romans (and tourists) come here to go out and living la dolce vita till late. :)
