Stresa is a beautiful lakeside resort and La Palma reminds me of the grand European tours of the past. Great service, beautiful rooms and perfect location.

Hotel La Palma is a great upmarket hotel with fabulous views from the rooftop bar and a great breakfast service. Well positioned to walk 5 minutes into town and convenient for local restaurants and the ferry. It has paid for parking 200 metres away. I would have given 5 stars except the hotel was full and we got what must have been the last room, and it was particularly small, perhaps too small.

The hotel is clean and well located, obviously the pool is amazing but I wish the staff was a bit more friendly and accommodating (specially at this price point)

10/10 Exceptional

We had the best stay at Hotel La Palma. We were impressed by the friendly, helpful staff— from the front desk, to restaurant staff, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping. As for the property, it is modernly designed, yet warm and aesthetically pleasing. It has a gym and spa, a restaurant and a rooftop bar. We ate dinner at their restaurant and the food was creative and delicious! The hotel faces the glorious Lake Maggiore and the beautifully manicured front exterior has seating areas for guests to indulge in the stunning water views. Our room was perfect— very clean, contemporary in design, and plenty of room for a couple. While the bathroom was compact, it had up-to-date amenities and our towels were refreshed daily. Breakfast was top-notch with a wide variety of offerings and caffeine drinks made exactly to one’s liking. All in all Hotel La Palma exceeded our expectations for our visit to Stresa.

Incredible! The rooms are amazing (upgraded to junior suite at the counter for a v small cost), the rooftop bar is spectacular, and the lakeside pool is a real treat. Worth the price and truly a special experience.

La Palma was amazing! We stayed 2 nights in Stresa and absolutely loved this place. The crown jewel was the rooftop pool with an amazing view, and though it was a bit too cold to use the beach club pool by the lake, I can imagine it's an amazing experience as well. Parking on site, breakfast included, and perfectly located within the town. Will definitely stay here again!
