Aspen is located in the old town area of the city a great location...the staff were nice and helpful....but its a tired hotel and needs a lot of maintenance...my room was clean but again in need of repair...a saggy bed with one blanket, no fitted sheet or flat sheet...wall paper peeling...but my stay was ok

The highlight of the property is it's location, in the centre of the old town just 5 min walk to Hadrian gate. The breakfast is good as well and staff at reception was helpful. But drinking water has to be bought ( water bottles , though they give 2 small bottles at check-in). There is no electric kettle in room .

The hotel is in a quieter part of the town but close to all the amenities which worked well for us. The room was very clean and well appointed with a fridge and heating/aircon unit. The staff were helpful and attentive. Our breakfast was free so I can't complain, but the very varied choice was aimed more at other Europeans with an array of cheese, olives and cooked meats and salad.

Stay at Aspen Hotel

We have stayed at the Aspen several times, usually in the same very comfortable room. This time we were in a different room and both the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and we did not get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was very good again and the staff are very good and helpful.
