Good clean spot right in town. Right by the dock and walkable to restaurants and stores. You can hear people talking (muted voices) the other units as well footsteps, but the night was very quiet. We would stay again.

Three people in a room so small we couldn’t open the suitcases and walk to the bathroom. The sofa bed made so much noise whenever someone rolled over it woke everyone up. The noise from the room over us also kept everyone awake until midnight. I don’t know why there are so many good reviews. Perhaps some of the rooms are larger/ better than ours was.

This is the ugliest and most dreadful spot in Cheticamp. This “hotel” sits at the bottom of a hill in a dusty parking lot facing working pier. There are bright lights on all night and by 4;30 am you can hear the beeping on the pier. There is no office. You call to check in. The tell you you “suite” and it’s unlock. There is a sign telling you if you use a glass or cup to wash it and put it away but there is no dish soap. The bed sheets are old and thin. This is not the place you want to stay when visiting beautiful Cape Breton.

Here is your refined, polite, clear, and grammatically corrected version: --- The room was recently renovated, nicely decorated, and very clean. It was also conveniently close to the Skyline Trail, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. The room itself was small, but this was expected as the square footage was clearly advertised. My only concern was with the sofa bed. It made a screeching noise whenever my son moved, which made it a bit difficult for him to sleep comfortably. It seems that the metal frame of the bed might be quite old or possibly loose.

Maybe this is the price for the area but $220 for this place is just crazy expensive for what you get. It’s pretty much like someone’s basement renovated to a place you can live. Tiny bathroom. Tiny bed and the whole place is just old and not clean.

The Island View suite was supposed to be non-smoking but had a lingering odour of stale cigarette smoke and damp. The sink was almost completely plugged. The buildings heat exchangers were located against the exterior wall and were noisy until midnight. No insulation between the neighbouring suite as I listened to a complete phone conversation the occupant was having. Room is very tired.

What a hidden gem. We had the suite on the main floor and it was fantastic. Huge living room kitchen area and then a separate room with a king size bed. It doesn't look like much from the outside but fantastic suite. Would highly recommend. Plus, head to The Doryman for dinner...the food was great.

Contact par téléphone pour savoir quelle chambre occuper, la porte est ouverte, la clé sur le porte-manteaux, que l'on remet en place en quittant l'hôtel. Sanibroyeurs un peu bruyants, qui se mettent fréquemment en route dès que l'on fait couler de l'eau... Sinon, vue sur le port... Rien d'extraordinaire...

The check-in is unconventional and inconvenient for tourists without a local mobile phone contract: you have to call a number to be allocated the room you have rented. Although we asked for check-in details via the contact form the day before, there was no response. The room itself is very basic and not acceptable for the price (240 CAD). The bed was fine. Unfortunately there was a lot of dirt under the sofa bed.

Bel endroit exactement comme indiqué. Seuls hics: odeur permanente d'humidité qui est aussi très présente dans les serviettes de bain. Proprios pas très proactifs: pas d'eau fournie lors d'une panne de courant qui a durée plus de 5 heures. Étant donnée que l'eau du bâtiment est pompée électroniquement nous n'avons pas eu d'eau durant 5 heures.
