Had a great stay at Oakwood Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Really good value for money and definitely well worth the price. The location was convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Have stayed here many times now and never had anything but a pleasant stay. Make sure to add breakfast which has a large variety to choose from, as not much else around. Short 15 min walk to the casino for food and drinks and a bit more for a lot more options. Parking is not on site and they offer a discounted rate of $30 overnight in the DFO Carpark, however at the rear is $20 overnight in the main carpark or on the street is free from 6pm until 8am. Bar is quiet small in foyer but comfy seating in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
