The location is perfect, being easy walking distance from, but not in the middle of, the heavy concentration of restaurants and shops. The property is well maintained, with spacious rooms. Beaches and beach amenities are clean and well equipped, with plenty of chairs, palapas, and umbrellas available. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Jesus, who went above and beyond in numerous ways to make our 10th anniversary visit more than special.

While we reserved a ocean view room, the view was very limited. And there was one staff member at the wave shack who was not happy to be at work and made us very aware. However, the rest of the staff were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. The pools were clean and chairs were available most of the time. It's about a 15 minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff are helpful in getting taxis for trips.

The resort itself was great. The room was okay. Some flaws in design (bathroom door hitting the toilet when opened, bathroom door didn’t latch shut unless locked) the shower didn’t drain well- had to stop mid shower to let water drain , the slider door was really tough to open and close- track needed cleaning or some grease. BUT we had a walk out room right to the pool and this was amazing which made the room issues not a real problem.
