The lady who checked us in was really lovely and helpful, shes on an in internship from Poland. Our room wasnt ready on time and so because we had to wait, we were given a complementary coffee and cake for two in the restaurant on 17th floor. It was then when we went to use it that we realised they obviously had a lack of staff. We had to wait for over 20 mins to get in and then when we were shown to a table we had to wait for over another 20 mins before being served. The situation was then also evident in the restaurant by the pool area, tables were left covered in dirty dishes for hrs. The food in the buffet restaurant in the evening was very average compared to other hotels we have stayed at. There are very few sunbeds and therefore in my opinion, not really designed as a hotel for laying in the sun as chances are you wont get a bed. The bar didnt ever seem to be open on 1st floor above the lobby, which was a shame, as it was a really nice area.
However after the negatives our seafront suite was really beautiful and well appointed. The staff we met were all very nice and friendly, but there just didnt seem to be enough of them, leading to very slow service.We had a good 3 night stay but we wouldnt return.
