The positives were the hotel receptionist and the friendly staff at breakfast. My experience wasn't great; I got a twin bed as a solo traveller. The room smelled damp and very old, and the toilet seat was in an awkward, tight space; the room downstairs smelled the same. I wouldn't recommend it; it would be my first and last stay.

The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey.

Helpful staff, clean and affordable, in particular since it included full English breakfast for two. Should be quie good for young people. Mais inconvence, in particular for the not so young is that there are no elevator and the second floor is quite a climb. Room also needed some updates to provide modern USB ports.

Room was spotless, nothing was to much trouble for the staff, breakfasts were very good with traditional and vegan options available, staff were kind and attentive. Excellent restaurant called Racks next door.
