I had two rooms on my reservation.
Check-in was not great. I'd sent two emails in the weeks leading up to my trip, and neither was answered. I was asking for early check-in. Then I phoned a few days ahead, and was told, 'I'll make a note of it, but call the morning of your stay to improve your chances (it's not guaranteed). I called early that morning, and was told (basically) 'First come, first served.'
We arrived one hour before check-in time. One room was ready, and I was told the other would be ready in 30-45 minutes. Then there was a shift change. Exiting person apparently did not tell her replacement why the guys were waiting in the lobby. They didn't get into my second room for over an hour.
First, I wish they'd respond to an email. Second, I wish they'd communicated each other. I don't feel the second room should have taken so long.
