We had added two days before this stay and we were able to keep the same room rather than checking in and out so that was a bonus. Loved the location amongst so many restaurants and cafes but felt like you were in an oasis when sitting in the courtyard and the room was very quiet at night. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby was beautiful! The staff was very polite and helpful if we had any questions. The gentleman that took our luggage to the room was extremely helpful and explained how everything worked. The room was charming and comfortable! Our room was spotless and had a tea kettle with coffee and tea options. There was plenty of wardrobe space for clothing and bedside tables with drawers. It was very convenient to walking everywhere for restaurants, pubs, cafes/bakeries, shopping, and historical buildings. This is a wonderful place to stay and if we have the chance to return we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was absolutely lovely, and the location was perfect. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is a matter of personal preference: the room was incredibly hot and maintained at 23.5C (74.3F) which made it very difficult to sleep. I inquired at the front desk about the heat and was supplied with a fan, but that was not sufficient for me to sleep well. Further my room’s windows opened to an interior walkway and the lights were on 24 hours a day. Even with blackout curtains, the room was very light - the light came in the top and sides of the curtains. The lack of darkness also impacted my sleep. If these things don’t affect you, then I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Super atmospheric hotel in a great location. The only downside is the breakfast eating arrangement which is not 5 star. There is a nice upper/external eating area, but food has to be carried from the internal buffet area. Alternatively, you can eat in the small downstairs buffet area close to the food, but it can be busy and cramped. Apart from this, everything else is of a high standard. Highly recommended.
