I chose this hotel because it looked like it had so much character and felt very much like it would make part of the Santa Fe experience (vs staying in the usual high rise or franchise hotel, which you won’t really find in Santa Fe anyway); let’s just say it lived up to my expectations and more. I loved the room that they put us in, felt like a little Airbnb, complete with the kitchenette and good amenities. We did have some issues with our room initially, including the TV, but the front desk staff responded immediately, and he actually came himself to help fix the TV that was not working on arrival. The breakfast is also amazing. So many good things to say; if you are looking for a quaint place to stay with great amenities and friendly staff, definitely stay here.

Las Palomas is a very welcoming, homey place. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is spectacular, and the number of accommodations is abundant. Our "casita" was spacious and even though the aesthetic was old, it was clean and functional. We will inquire directly with Las Palomas the next time we venture to Santa Fe about accommodation options since there are studios, small casitas, and larger casitas. We'd like a bit more updated if a studio or casita were available. If not, the casita we had was perfectly fine.

Lucky we chose this charming hotel! It was just a short walk to the main plaza and other attractions. Ample parking and we felt safe. Our casita style room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable (although a few of the pillows were flat, but not a huge inconvenience). The breakfast was hot and delicious with great options. The dining room area was clean and inviting. Since it rained on one of our evenings in Santa Fe, we were able to use it to relax and play games. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and attended to all of our needs very quickly. Our only suggestion would be to have a small mat just inside the room where we could wipe and/or leave our wet shoes. We would love to stay here again next time we are in SF!

Staff were super friendly on check in. It’s a wonderful place, we stayed in one of the little homes. It’s like you get your own studio house. They own the local homes around the main area. Breakfast was wonderful with cooked to order breakfast burritos, tacos, corn pancakes etc. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Any and every stay at Las Palomas is like finding your home in Santa Fe. The property is perfectly located for ease of access to everything in downtown - but just far a way to feel secluded at the end of the day. The staff is extraordinary - capable and kind and always remember you year after year. One even gets to know other guests a bit because of the lovely dynamic of the place - the ONLY place we will stay and we have stayed over decades.

This place has a lot of potential and could be really incredible with some updates. I agree with many reviewers that the room did not look like the pictures but I really liked the exterior pathways, plants and water features. Super charming exterior, free and easy parking and a very kind staff were the highlights. Very comfy bed as well! Our room was okay - would have been great with a paint job, some better furniture arrangement and a bathroom remodel. It felt a little overpriced for what it was, but we appreciated the proximity to town and the quiet neighborhood. Also dog friendly!

Glad I made this choice versus going to a chain hotel resort like El Dorado. This gave me a sense of place, with the unique adobe huts and rooms. I also enjoyed the free breakfast! Saving on that meal allowed me to splurge on dinners during my stay. The ladies in the kitchen were super friendly and helpful -- like they really enjoyed what they were doing. Their smiles were very sincere and genuine. Made my breakfast an enjoyable experience. Eddie in the front desk was super helpful! My iPhone adapter was not working properly and he lent me a fast charger during my stay. I would have been lost many times without a map!
