Overall it's a nice resort but it is getting pretty run down and could definitely use updates. There are no screens on the windows or doors, and no air conditioning. The furniture has a lot of wear and tear, the room smelled musty, and the elevator was broken. The restaurant was expensive and the food was okay. The grounds are well kept, with two nice pools. The scenery and view were the best part. We had a nice stay but I personally wouldn't go back unless it had a bit of an over haul.

The hotel hallways, rooms, and fitness centre are filthy. The baseboards are covered in a layer of dust. Clearly know-one really cares. Room has stained carpets, worn out furniture, and a brutal mattress. Also…no A/C, so things run hot (yes, even if the windows are open). Hot tub is missing tiles, etc. Spectacular location, very beautiful. But…poor quality food and a run down resort leaves a person feeling ripped off.

Lower pool was warm enough for kids to swim. Staff and people were friendly. The island was quiet and have decent family activities: Brooks point, Mt. Norman lookout, etc. The only thing I can ask for the resort is to upgrade the mattress. They were too soft for us.
