Loved our stay here. We came to enjoy Pender Island and the resort was a fantastic start and end point each day. Our room had wonderful views of the calm bay and the setting was absolutely peaceful. We could have just stayed on our large balcony and watch the day go by, it was that great. Will go back again, no question.

We had a wonderful stay at Poets Cove Resort. Our room was spacious, clean, private, and very comfortable, which made it easy for our family to relax and enjoy the island. The hot tub was a great feature and made the stay feel extra special. We also really enjoyed the food, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was peaceful and welcoming. We had a great time and would happily stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Poets Cove. The food was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, pools were well maintained. The room was very warm as no A/C but once we got the fans going it was nice. The location is remote and very quiet which we liked.We took advantage of the kayak rentals and drove to some lookout spots nearby.

Overall it's a nice resort but it is getting pretty run down and could definitely use updates. There are no screens on the windows or doors, and no air conditioning. The furniture has a lot of wear and tear, the room smelled musty, and the elevator was broken. The restaurant was expensive and the food was okay. The grounds are well kept, with two nice pools. The scenery and view were the best part. We had a nice stay but I personally wouldn't go back unless it had a bit of an over haul.

Gets two stars only because of its beautiful location. This hotel used to be beautiful. It is has not been cleaned or maintained over the past few years. Stains everywhere peeling wallpaper, dust, mold and grime. There’s a rug in the lobby that is supposed to be white and it looked la like it was pulled out of a dumpster. It’s brown and grey that it’s so dirty. Carpet and furniture stains in our suite with substances dried onto the walls. There’s bed feels like a blow up mattress. We didn’t even spend the night it was so bad. We left and are waiting for a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. It’s such a travesty that someone let this beautiful place deteriorate into this mess

The hotel hallways, rooms, and fitness centre are filthy. The baseboards are covered in a layer of dust. Clearly know-one really cares. Room has stained carpets, worn out furniture, and a brutal mattress. Also…no A/C, so things run hot (yes, even if the windows are open). Hot tub is missing tiles, etc. Spectacular location, very beautiful. But…poor quality food and a run down resort leaves a person feeling ripped off.

Pros: beautiful view, delicious breakfast, nice big pool Cons: wine cork on the room floor suggested it needed a better cleaning, room was 80 degrees and employee at reception gas lit me into thinking there was a ceiling fan, which there was not, other guests smoking on balconies Wouldn't return or recommend for the price.

Lower pool was warm enough for kids to swim. Staff and people were friendly. The island was quiet and have decent family activities: Brooks point, Mt. Norman lookout, etc. The only thing I can ask for the resort is to upgrade the mattress. They were too soft for us. O Overall, our family had a great time and would like to visit the resort and the island again.
