Disappointing Stay — Would Not Return Based on the reviews, I expected this to be a comfortable, family-friendly place to stay. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the moment we checked in, the staff was very short and not particularly welcoming. Outside, there were vehicles being worked on, and several cars appeared to be in poor condition or possibly being used as shelter. The surrounding area also had a strong urine smell, which made the property feel very unpleasant. Inside the room, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and left us feeling itchy. The bathroom was also concerning, as there appeared to be mold or mildew on the walls. Overall, this was not the clean, comfortable, family-friendly experience I expected based on the reviews. I was very disappointed with our stay and would definitely not stay here again.

For the price and location I think it’s fair. Monrovia is great place stay at surrounded by many restaurants, near Pasadena, great hiking trails, etc however the hotel gives old motel vibes. Because it’s much cheaper than surrounding hotels, I think the price is fair but you like updated amenities and modern design, this is not it. The pictures look better than the reality
