Location - great. Quick walk from the Beppu train station. Many restaurants and convenience stores close by. Rooms - Amazing. Very well maintained, modern-Japanese decor. Staff - Very nice and attentive. Breakfast - Amazing with some local food. Amenities - The infinity pool on the rooftop is pretty big, with amazing view. The onsen (hotsprings) was amazing with the ocean view. Extra - 1500-yen per night for unlimited alcohol, which is a great deal! We were very happy with our stay.

We were thankful to find a last minute place to stay after our original plans fell through. Despite the late hour, staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was okay with regard to cleanliness… could be better could be worse. My biggest complaint was the odd smell of the room and the black flies in the bathroom-both tolerable but unfortunate.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night but the service is exceptional. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much. The onsen was an awesome add on to the hotel. And I loved the all you can drink service (for 1000 yen).
