Great pit stop. Ex Carthusian monastery with great rooms, lovely parkland and 300 parking spaces. Gates are closed at night to provide secure parking. 2 restaurants onsite. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Camera pulita e accogliente, quiete assoluta e personale disponibile. C'è un bel giardino molto grande e la chartreuse è comoda da raggiungere. Unica pecca la colazione: modesta.

Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.

Beautiful and quiet property. Grounds are not quite as they could be.Breakfast is basic . Overall we really liked and enjoyed our stay. Just needs a few improvements to make it a 5 star experience.

Un lieu magnifique, un accueil parfait, de belles possibilités de restauration.

Chateau in need of some renovation but room comfortable. Strangely no shower gel or shampoo in bathroom but there was body lotion! No kettle either. Also hade to pay €250 security deposit on arrival? Despite saying there are 3 restaurants only le Vasco open. The bar in hotel not staffed and very little in choice of drinks. This building and setting and grounds could be spectacular if sorted out and staffed properly. Unsure who owns what with the chateau and le Metairie seperate hotels but sharing facilities and staff .

Hotel staff numbers seem to be reduced resulting in pool service. Room amenities appear fewer - bottled water particularly during high season temperatures .

We stayed in this very special hotel for one night on our journey from Calais to Dijon. It is as special as it looks in the photos having an extensive and interesting history which adds to the character & drama. The parking is very secure and there were several charging points. Dinner is in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel (it is part of it) and the food was really good being exceptional value for money. Breakfast in the dining room echoed Downton Abbey grandeur!! No hesitation in recommending and we will likely use on our next journey...in 2027! Tim & Eleanor

Room 108 - the shower could benefit from 'grabbars' for guests in their 80s

Impressive property when pulling up. Thankfully staff still available at midnight for check in after a very delayed shuttle crossing. Room was large and bathroom massive! Two sinks and roll top bath in our attic room. Only downside was no kettle / tea coffee making facility in the room. Would have been really useful for us with an early departure and not having breakfast. Found a Sophie boulangerie 5 mins away in a small retail area. Cant comment much on other facilities as with late arrival and a early departure we didn’t use any

A charming hotel from an older era with 2 excellent restaurants. Furnishings are a little dated and hot water takes a long time to reach the bathroom, but that just adds to it’s faded elegance.

Lovely chateau hotel full of charm. No Aircon in bedroom though they did supply a fan. Limited spirits at bar & no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. However, these minor gripes did not spoil our stay, would definitely recommend it 👍

4/10 Regular

Our experience was not so good the room was nice however it was very close to a function room where there was an event. The loud music from this event went on till 01.30am so myself my husband and our 4 yr old daughter did not get to sleep till this music had stopped! The staff were polite and friendly but no one to be seen in the bar or communal seating area if you wanted to get any refreshments. Breakfast was also very disappointing, all the pastries looked very old and not much variety for hot and cold buffet. Not worth the money.
