Nice location, nice room. However, there’s much was a strong moldy smell and the hot water smelled so sulfurous that the whole room smelled after a shower. The windows were rusted on the inside. The bed was comfortable, and staff was helpful.

10/10 Exceptional

This was our third short stay (1 night this time) at Fosshotel Baron. We received an upgraded room so it was larger with a table and chairs and windows looking out to the harbor. Good bed. Everything worked well. Close to bus stop 9 and Langavegur St. This time we appreciated learning of the nearby better-than-typical food court since we needed a quick meal before an aurora tour. The hotel reception handily took care of tour and airport transfer arrangements. Thank you Sara!
