Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are lovely - clean and spacious, perfect crisp sheets and soft towels! Pool is large enough for swimming whilst others are playing games. Good vegan choices - and chef was helpful in finding/recommending options. Convenient for the airport and Miri centre by Grab.

Our stay at the Miri Marriott was wonderful. Had a very relaxing time and the food was great. A special mentioned to Mr Roy Abraham who was very kind and helpful. Also, at the poolside, Mr Dave Benjamin, Mr Harry ( not sure of his surname) and Mr Ron McKenzie have been very courteous and provided good service

Short Getaway

The best thing about the Hotel is the pool. Staffs service is average in term of friendliness. Room is clean. Balcony chairs with birds and house lizards droppings.

Great pool and good food, bad drinks and no beach

Pool is fantastic and service is great, but the drinks have no sugar and the alcohol seem to be wrong in taste, really bad. Rooms are good, clean and new. There is sadly no beach in front of the hotel, but you can walk to a "worn out" beachfront in 10 minutes, trashed by flooding, where swimming is not allowed due to currents! Take a daytrip south to get to nicer beaches.

This Miri Marriott and its sister property Mulu Marriott in Borneo, is fabulous. I injured my leg and they were so attentive without me asking for any assistance, I was pleasantly astounded! The people were just amazing, the service was impeccable, the facilities gorgeous, everything and everyone was very efficient without losing the caring aspect, and total quality service that exceeded my expectations. Thank you and thank you again.

lovely spot

The Marriott Miri is a lovely resort with a huge pool and parklike ground. Friendly staff. No problems apart from my bathroom, which had a light musty smell.

2/10 Poor

This is a very old hotel, and the furnishings in the room are not up to Marriott’s usual standards. The front office staff were neither professional in appearance nor particularly helpful. One thing I found completely unacceptable was being charged 25% of the room rate for requesting a late check-out at 1:00 pm. I have stayed at many Marriott hotels, and this was the first time I encountered such a policy. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning to this hotel.

Great Stay!

Well done to the housekeeping team. Did their job brilliantly. Premier room comes with 2 queen size bed which is good for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
