The restaurant on-site, not an actual part of Villas By the Sea, isn't helping this aging property's brand a bit. Closing the ONLY restaurant on the property for Sunday (and, as far as I could tell, Monday) is a business disaster. The bed was comfort personified, but the front desk personnel, while personable, did not explain (at least to me) how to access the free wifi or how to operate the heat/cooling - or even the DirectTV setup. Fortunately, I'm "techie" enough to figure it all out. Having arrived from a bus to Brunswick and private transit to the resort, I had hoped this would have been taken into consideration, but I wound up walking my luggage and myself to my unit using a hastily-drawn map of the property. My last stay here was about 10 years ago, so I had assumed some changes had been made - unfortunately, the sower fixtures were not among them. It was a pleasant, but not fantastic, vacation stay.
