The location was good for us. We enjoyed the free parking. We got a 2 queens bedroom and got upgraded to queen+ king so that was nice! We enjoyed the breakfast. (Toast, cereals, pastries, fresh waffles, boiled eggs, yogourt, fruits) There were some broken stuff but it didn’t bother us, such as holes in walls and tv remote didn’t work.

- Friendly and helpful staff overall, especially the kitchen staff. - Front desk was unattended at night; I waited outside for over 30 minutes. - Sheets and blankets were clean but very worn and motel-like. - Strong, unpleasant smell in the room throughout our stay. - Very old TV, and our remote was broken. - Paid almost double for the “jacuzzi” room, but it was basically a regular bathtub with jets. - Jacuzzi was extremely loud and disturbed the neighboring guests. - Breakfast was average; a simple omelet would be better than boiled eggs. - Staff member took our parking spot and told us to park at the mosque. - My sister found a many-legged insect in her bathroom and couldn't use the shower. - Overall, the hotel needs improvement in maintenance, cleanliness, parking, and guest service.

It is definitely a very old hotel, but it was quite functional and had nice charm. Our first room had a funky smell, but we were quickly and easily relocated to a new one. It was a very convenient location, near the Falls and Clifton Hills! Be aware of parking though - the hotel does have a parking lot for guests, but it filled up quickly on the second night and turned into a bit of a gridlock.
