We were heading to the port the next morning so the location is excellent, parking is free and very easy to access, staff are very helpful, room is comfortable, clean and a good size. The breakfast was very good. My foot kept slipping on the shower floor which was a little uncomfortable and the evening food offering could be much improved.

The hotel breakfast was really good. The staff friendly and helpful. My only issue was the distance from Bilbao centre. The taxis were very expensive between €30 and €40 but there is a convenient bus sevice which was only €2.40 one way so we took that in the day but a taxi home at night

6 day stay Most days only ham, bread and rock hard boiled eggs for the main breakfast, unless you are a cereal fan. Coffee was good, No juice twice, mostly stale pastries. Rooms very clean. Air con not working. Staff wonderful.

Overnight spot

Excellent little ibis right next to a load of restaurants at the MaxCenter. My only issue is they there is always a lot of English staying before the ferry, but no opportunity to watch any news in English on tv. Most other hotels have this facility so it’s noticeable when not available. Would recommend though

The hotel was located in a good area, you can go to the city center and have a mall across the street from the hotel. Sadly the employee that checked us in, didn’t even look into our eyes when we arrived. He ignored us while doing work on his computer. While doing the check in he acted as if we were annoying him with our presence. We were surprised that he even told us about breakfast. Luckily the hotel and the rooms were nice, but that employee should consider if he wants to work in a place where you work with customers daily

This is an ok hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but not all. The room was clean and comfortable, but the air-conditioning didn’t seem to work and when you opened the window the road noise was loud. It’s a convenient stop near the motorway and there are lots of places to eat and drink at the nearby shopping centres. You can catch buses into the centre of Bilbao just a short walk away.
