What a delightful surprise! The Salina turned out to be my favorite hotel on the trip. Parking was easy, safe and free. Checking in was a breeze. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. The shower was by far the best one on the trip! The roof deck pool was fantastic and the lounge furniture very comfortable!!

This is a wonderful, and seemingly brand new property. The staff were super friendly and the room as well as the facilities were clean and everything worked well. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The pool is wonderful and offers a great view. There is ample free parking. The only challenge is that the immediate neighbourhood really offers nothing of interest. One needs a car to go into the city; there is nowhere to walk to. But otherwise, a great place.

I stayed for a week. The hotel was nice, but required a €20-40 taxi fare to get into town, winery, or beach (one way). It was not walkable (we tried, but the hotel is in the middle of a highway). The front desk staff was varied in their grasp of English - sometimes they were extremely helpful and other times wires really got crossed because of the language barrier. They answered questions/requests by email and phone both very quickly. The housekeeping and bar/restaurant staff were A . The hotel also had free wifi, but it required frequent re-signing in, and sometimes it went out altogether. There were several USB charging ports in the room, which was very helpful.

Väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Vi anlände några timmar tidigare och de tog hand om våra bagage och såg till att vi var incheckade medan vi var på utflykt och väntade in check-in tiden. Secondo anno consecutivo alla struttura Salina di Taranto. L'anno scorso eravamo stati conquistati dalla completezza della struttura, dalla pulizia e dall'ottimo livello dei servizi, tanto da sceglierla nuovamente senza esitazioni. Quest'anno, purtroppo, ci siamo dovuti ricredere su diversi fronti. - Colazioni deludenti: ripetitive e prive di qualsiasi tocco locale o fresco. Frutta fuori stagione, torta "fresca" riciclata nei giorni successivi, brioche industriali decongelate al momento e quasi nessun prodotto tipico. Con le tante panetterie e pasticcerie nelle vicinanze, sarebbe bastato davvero poco per offrire qualcosa di genuino ogni mattina. - Piscina a sfioro fuori uso: uno dei punti di forza dell'anno scorso, quest'anno completamente inagibile a causa di un livello igienico dell'acqua del tutto inadeguato. Un servizio incluso nel prezzo che non ci è stato erogato e per il quale non è stata offerta alcuna compensazione. - Scarsa attenzione alla sostenibilità: nonostante il cartello in bagno invitasse esplicitamente a lasciare gli asciugamani appesi per evitarne la sostituzione quotidiana, ci siamo trovati un cambio nuovo ogni giorno — un dettaglio che la dice lunga sulla cura con cui vengono seguite le proprie stesse indicazioni. Ci aspettavamo di ritrovare la qualità che ci aveva entusiasmato l'anno scorso, ma questa seconda esperienza ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca. Speriamo che la struttura sappia ascoltare i propri ospiti e tornare agli standard che merita.
