6/10 Good

A stay of necessity, a pretty tired and unimpressive building, but rooms were relatively clean, washrooms fresh. Rooms felt small and cramped. The hotel was clean, and suitable for a stay on the road, but more could be done. Breakfast was ok.

A nice hotel a little out of downtown. The walk to downtown along the river is nice. I loved the hall carpet pattern.

Unfortunately no AC in the room. This weekend was very warm, so temperature in the room was high.

Check in 4 pm? And charging 20 € if you need to get in an hour early to dress for a wedding or party? It just seems cheap and disrespectful. Not a great start to a less than perfect stay.

Hotels are getting greedy and Scandic is no exception. Pushing in-checking to 4 PM and charging significantly, per room, to get into a room an hour early! That should be illegal! And closing breakfast at 10 AM on a Sunday morning? Shame on you! What happened to hospitality?
