Unaccommodating, overpriced, and a total disappointment.
My wife and I had been looking forward to staying since it opened a few years back and thought Christmas might be the perfect excuse to go. Upon arrival- we realized just how tiny the Queen Size cabins were with our 2 large dogs, but figured we could just ask to be switched to one of the larger Kind cabins since there were only 4 (four) other guests staying on the property. But we were flatly denied- no option to pay the difference for the larger room or complimentary upgrade as other hotels would do- Merry Christmas right lol. They said because we booked through a third party (hotels.com) they couldn't make any changes to our reservation. This is after the hotel had called multiple times and asked us to please get massages (which we did- and which were $200/massage poorly sprent) and we had made reservations for the Christmas Eve prix fixe dinner (the restaurant is beautiful, the food is mid). Definitely left a bad taste in our mouths walking around the property and seeing nobody in the large cabins. There's no maid service, and they don't do any of the fun things in the winter like s'mores. Also for being a "dog friendly" hotel there is no dog run or fenced in area for them to go off leash. We decided to cut our stay short as we would be happier at home, and the front desk manager called me and said he would refund the last night of our stay. Then he took it back via email bc we booked through hotels.com
