Ocean reef resort is a fun, chill and family friendly resort . All staff are polite and friendly. Especially Miss Maggie in the Cafe du port and miss Lisa at the banana boat bar and grill. Ocean reef is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean as well as all the other fun things in the area . I liked that it was away from all the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. Will definitely be back

For most part it was clean. Looked like room could have been vauumed better when we arrived. The parking lot outside the hotel says parking for 15 minutes or be towed however most cars sat there all weekend and never moved.

First time in this hotel. Price is reasonable. The place is ‘old’, it needs some deep cleaning and perhaps renovations to upgrade furniture, appliances and amenities. Below the bathroom sink is opened and rusted pipes are showing which is not a good sight. Carpet, floor and veranda and lobby hallways also needs good cleaning. One of the north elevator was out of service, which made it difficult when everyone was checking out with their luggage cart. It took us 45 minutes wait for the elevator to finally shoved our way in, one of the guests mentioned that they were there a month ago, and it was already out/service. Great view of the beach thou.

This is our second time staying here. Before and after the renovations. We thoroughly enjoy staying here. It has everything you need for your family from the nice views, nice rooms, all the outdoor pool amenities (the water slide was a hit this time around) and enjoyed the music by the pool. Beautiful view, nice room it was just as pictured. Only gave 4 stars because our air conditioner had went out the first night and the whole unit had to be replaced the next morning. Maintenance were very responsive and quick about the fix and front desk was nice. Definitely family friendly. Nice pool and bar area that is connected to the beach. The beach front location is perfect and offers easy access to the beach. The updated efficiency room was modern and clean. Parking was across the street but it was free and within walking distance. My only complaint was check in because the room was not ready until almost 6pm. They did not have a since of urgency about the matter until I started to request freebies, which were all declined by the way. Instead of offering, a late check out, free breakfast or a complimentary drink they just keep telling you the room is almost ready. They did give us a wrist band and a key card that allows you to access the property's amenities until your room is ready. Still a drag after a long day of driving in. 5 stars for the location and Ocean front views.

I love the facility as it was very clean. The beach is very easy to get to and very close to resort. The beach was clean and NOT overly crowded. The staff was friendly. One concern was getting toilet paper. We keep running out and had to physically go to get it from the front desk. You would only get one roll at the time. Unfortunately, there wasn't a store nearby to buy our own toilet paper. We flew in and didn't have a car to go to a store. There is limited housekeeping staff so twice we had to request clean towels and garbage removal, which was stated that it would happen daily.
