While we enjoyed our room with a partial lake view and a jet bath, it definitely needed maintenance and, above all, basic cleaning. The fabric on the couch felt so greasy that we didn't want to sit on it. The furniture in the porch obviously hasn't been cleaned for a while, and we needed to get rid of the dust and spider webs to use it. The bathroom water came out brown for the first few seconds, which made us wonder when the room was last cleaned. The bodywash bottle was empty. A piece of long hair was sitting on the bathroom floor. A few torn pages from a pamphlet remained in one of the cabinets... Overall it was an uncomfortable stay.

Staff was great in accommodating my request to stay an extra night. AC was great, heat was great, fridge and TV also great. I did not use internet, (I did not intend to) was a nice pleasant escape. Most things I was interested in were within walking distance. Pool was clean and deep, most places don't have deep pools anymore. SPECIAL call out to the guy who checked me in, I did not get his name. The property does need some TLC, and cleanup, but nothing which would prevent me from visiting again, probably soon.

The place is older so don’t expect everything to be brand new but, it’s clean and cozy. Lots of heaters, fireplace, hot tub in room and in the middle for pricing. Staff is very helpful and was available to help us with the tv and fireplace. Definitely recommend but don’t hit for persons with super high expectations. We had a great time and will be back in the future.
