The propery was clean and functional. The pool area was overcrowded, our understanding is that the hotel allows guets from the adjacent Holiday Inn to use the pool. Why not then just stay at the Holiday Inn? We had a club room and while the service was excellent and the club concept is good, i.e. afternoon tea and cocktails, the food was low quality, overrun with flavourless carbohydrates. Would not stay here again.

We had originally booked a classic room with pool view and club lounge access. This room was okay. The flooring was very odd, an area of carpet around the beds and then a plastic type flooring, similar to an outdoor rug. Not a great room foe the price. However, due to circumstances beyond the control of the hotel, we were upgraded to an executive suite. This room was amazing. Outdoor pool and rooftop pool both great. Staff in the hotel went above and beyond. Breakfast was great. Pre dinner drinks in the club lounge had a large selection of drinks, not the usual wine and beer. The location of the hotel is in Paceville so very much the middle of party area. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was varied and the staff was courteous and professional. On room cleanliness, however, I have a real complaint: we had to explicitly request a deep cleaning during our stay, and at one point found a towel that was still dirty when it should have come straight from the laundry. I understand we were traveling during peak season and staff may have been stretched thin — but so were the room rates. At this price point, a smooth, hassle-free cleanliness standard shouldn't be something guests have to chase down. Worth noting for anyone traveling with kids: the beach isn't fine sand but small pebbles (likely granite) — not a hotel failing, just the nature of the St. Julian's coastline, but useful to plan around. Dining within the hotel was excellent, and I want to give a special mention to Leonardo, the maître d' at "Al Fresco" restaurant on the seventh floor. He made us feel welcome and at home — a skilled, friendly, and professional host. Thank you Leonardo!

Breakfast was lovely there was a great selection. The room was good and the hotel well located for nearby restaurants and easy public transport to places of interest. It was off season so the outside pools were closed but we visited the nearby beach and able to swim. Staff were very friendly and helped make this a great short break.

Great hotel in a busy area. All you need nearby with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The free beach club is great. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet gave a good variety of options. All staff were friendly and efficient and always willing to assist. The lobby bar would benefit from being an adult only area in the evening. Too many children at 9pm to make it appealing for a couple wanting a quiet nightcap. Maybe more chairs elsewhere in the lobby or a bar on level 7 where families could have their own separate space.

Lovely solo stay
