This resort was great. We only stayed one night so we didn’t really use many of the amenities, but it was nice to know there was a pool and restaurant on site. The views from the hotel rooms were stunning and we had a private balcony. My only complaint was it was quite loud at night from all the people around when we were trying to sleep. We expected one thing and experienced quite another. This was a lovely hotel, with rooms equivalent of a higher end hotel in a big city, and very convenient to the Capitol Reef National Park. The rooms were decorated very tastefully and provided a warm feeling, were very clean, and had all the amenities one might expect in a nice hotel room. The hotel also offered unique room options making it more curious, with teepees and covered wagon rooms, along with individual tiny house feeling rooms, all circling campfire areas. The restaurant was used for breakfast, with a full menu, which was pretty good, but a bit expensive. The staff was terrific, and made us feel very welcome. The pizza restaurant across the street was outstanding, with cold beer, excellent pizza, and even better view of the mountains from their outside dining. If every visiting the National Park again, I would stay here.

Clean rooms, excellent beds, and water pressure. The room faced the mountains and had the most spectacular view during sunset. This area is one of the few in the world where the lack of city light creates a darkness allowing an amazing view of the milky-way with stars from horizon to horizon.

They use the term resort very loosely in Utah. This room was spacious and it had a good coffee maker. The beds hurt, the shower was weak and the maids came in our room took our wash cloths and bath mat without replacing them. There was no Do Not Disturb, which I use to keep people out until we leave. Anyway, there is not much in the area, so this isn’t bad for that reason. We liked the restaurant and the service and food were good, though we read differently. Loved our balcony and view.

We stayed in a Red Cliff Cabin and the room was wonderful. Loved the deck and views, as well as the comfortable bed and sitting area. Highly recommended as a place to stay. However, the restaurant gets terrible reviews so we did not try it out for breakfast or dinner. Luckily there are two restaurants right across the street which are just fine.
