Give the people in marketing their bonus every year - they make this place look like a million bucks.
We stayed in a cabin with a view of the beautiful red rock terrain. The room concept is a good one - king bedroom in the back, living room with pullout couch, small loft overhead, and deck with grill and seating.
In reality, it’s cramped and sorely lacking in quality cleaning. Let’s talk about the floors… within 10 minutes of walking barefoot inside, all of our feet were black. We cooked the first night… grabbing a plate, there was either something that was once refried beans or had decayed to the point of looking like refried beans. The shower has a strong mildew scent. Needless to say, if you have strong expectations for cleanliness, prepare for severe disappointment.
Otherwise, the fixtures and hardware like the table/cabinets are showing a lot of wear and lack of maintenance. Even the bunk beads had a welded ladder - said ladder was not capped and had countless sharp edges/weld splatter exposed… a hazard to little hands and feet.
Staff came to replace the room digits at rhe front door - just came into our space without asking if it was ok first or notifying us they needed to do something. It was awkward.
The stay was disappointing enough that we abandoned ship after only the second night of our planned three night stay. At the very steep price per night for cabins, we should have received a decidedly cleaner room.
We would not stay here again.
