Love Citizen M! The rooms are so clean and modern - small, but it’s like an adult fort! The iv sized king bed is so roomy and comfy! Great sheets too! Love the lobby living room with books and the great bar. Breakfast in the morning is also great! My go to any time I’m in downtown LA!

This property was different as you control your room with an IPad. You help check yourself into the hotel. There is no security deposit. Grand Central Market is literally a 5 minute walk for good eats.

I like the CitizenM hotels in general and have stayed in multiple cities. It’s more of a self-serve place but the staff are usually pretty warm and helpful. This Los Angeles location is lacking in terms of service - staff here do the bare minimum, nothing more and I have seen/experienced less. I won’t likely stay at this location again unless it is the only option.

Unlike larger and more expensive chain hotels, every team member servicing the hotel was friendly and went above and beyond fr the room cleaners to the check-in assistant to the bartender. I’d stay here again for the friendly atmosphere. The room is tiny but has everything you need to be comfortable.
