Great location and pretty hotel. We just came from the white elephant with excellent customer service. I was not impressed with the service at the Harborview. The only great customer service we received were from the bellmen. Especially Bert, he was always super friendly and willing to go above and beyond. This hotel has the potential to be amazing with a couple customer service, tweaks and handling of certain situations. We had to speak to the manager at one point because someone didn't handle a situation and she was amazing and went above and beyond, but it shouldn't have gone to her. Lower levels need to be trained and better customer service. They could all take a lesson from the Bellman.

We loved the porch and drinks in the back bar. The room was ok, carpet was not very clean. The bed and bedding were excellent. The front desk and guest service were friendly but we had a few issues that were not resolved. The charging station is not good for a Tesla, you have to bring your own adapter supposedly. I called twice to make sure we would be able to charge a Tesla and no one said a work about the adapter. When I asked where is the nearest Tesla charging station, they gave me the address that was not existed on the Tesla map. The complementary transportation wasnt really good since no one would pick up the phone when we needed to be picked up. Overall rate from us is 4, considering a beautiful property, access to the beach, convenient location and beautiful porch with a stunning view of the light house.

The Harbor View Hotel is exactly what holiday dreams are made of. The property is absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained with breathtaking views and elegant charm throughout. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was warm, attentive, and incredibly polite, making us feel truly welcomed. The entire hotel smells amazing, like a luxury spa. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Did I mention how gorgeous the entire property is? Our trip to Martha’s Vineyard wouldn’t have been half as magical without this hotel. It was truly the highlight of our stay. This is hands down the place to stay when visiting the Vineyard. I already can’t wait to return!

October Visit to Martha's Vineyard

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in mid October 2024. The hotel is a beautiful facility located just a short walk from central Edgartown. We were fortunate that the weather during the weekend we were there was spectacular; lots of sun and little wind. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda in the afternoon. We also had dinner reservations at the on site restaurant (Bettini) and the food and service were outstanding. It was also our anniversary and we received complimentary glasses of champagne and dessert--nice touches. The building we stayed in did not have an elevator so if stairs are an issue for guests, they should request a room in the building with an elevator.

Beautiful property, beautifully maintained and very attentive staff. My husband and I had a lovely stay there. The shopping and dining district is an easy ten minute walk from the hotel, but they are happy to give you a lift in their golf carts!
