A very convenient place to stay if you are travelling by public transport, particularly with luggage. It was well located for both the airport bus on arrival and the train when we left for Pompeii, while still being only a short walk from the nicer parts of central Naples for dinner and sightseeing. Staff on reception, which was 24 hours, were very helpful, friendly and qick. The hotel is in a typical, busy and bustling Naples neighbourhood, so there was a little street noise, but we rather liked the atmosphere. There is a useful little area just outside where you can grab a snack or drink, as well as a small convenience store nearby. Our room was quite quirky, arranged over different levels with stairs. We only used the main bed, but there was another bed at the bottom of the stairs, so it could accommodate more people. The bathroom was clean and perfectly functional. Overall, a good choice for a short stay in Naples, particularly if convenience for the airport and railway station matters.

The hotel benefits from a good location, just a short walk from the Spanish Quarter and other local landmarks. Rooms are compact, which can be an advantage in summer, as the air conditioning cools the space quickly. Beds are very basic but adequate. The main concern lies with the bathroom. The shower shows visible mold, and the fixtures are old and defective; the showerhead does not stay in place, which is especially problematic in an already tight shower stall. Additionally, the toilet ran water continuously throughout the night. While I did not expect a luxury property, the overall condition fell below my expectations. With modest investment in maintenance and updates, this hotel could easily earn significantly better reviews.

Reception was really helpful both in directing me with convenient routes to/from the Archeology Museum and in helping me reserve a 4am taxi ride to the airport. The A/C worked great. As it's in the historic district, there's plenty to see and do, including shopping and restaurants.

Hotel suite ares is a great value hotel in Naples! The location is great for taking the train, as it’s just 10min from the station. However, the area itself isn’t as quiet or beautiful as other parts of Naples. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Nunzio!

Great place to stay if you plan travelling a lot from Naples. Central railway station is 10 min walk away and with near metro you get to port in 15min. Breakfast was good too. My only complaint was that the room minibar was not cold.
