Room was clean & fairly comfortable; needed some repairs. Staff was PHENOMENAL! So friendly, funny and accommodating! Breakfast was fine - not great but not the worst. Area was convenient to our needs. Cannot stress enough - staff - ALL staff - made the stay!!!

Reservation not secured.

The hotel itself was clean. Room was comfortable. TV channel list did not match channels. My beef is with Hotels.com. I went through them to make my reservation for two nights and was only secured for one. They did fine me another hotel for my second night but I should not have to receive a phone call from my hotel telling me I have to leave the hotel when I'm in the middle of my vacation. Not a good experience.

Really substandard holiday inn

The front desk employee refused to check for a military discount even though there is one. I walked in and the front desk was covered in a bunch creepy Halloween decor, which was not welcoming at all (which I can look past, just seemed like a lot). The elevator had trash on the floor. As soon as we got to our floor the entire floor smelled like fresh cigarette smoke. In our room the bathroom didn’t have a working light so they had stuck a desk lamp in the bathroom. Overall just a really substandard holiday Inn experience and I will not be staying here in the future.

Room confusion

I booked a room for 4 nights, Sat - Wed. I checked in and stayed Sat nt. When I returned to sleep on Sun, my key card did not work. The desk said it had only been activieate for 1 night. It was reactiviated and I stayed the night. On Mon night at midnight, I was wakened by an attempt to enter the room using a key card. When I alerted the individuals they were confused as the room had been assigned to them. I did not stay the final night as I did not feel safe.

Yuck

This was so bad I don’t even know where to start. Hotel was in a bad area. Parking was ridiculous. Very little parking. Outside of the hotel was unkept and a mess. Inside the hotel, the climate control was not working properly felt humid and musty. The room was not quiet. We didn’t get any sleep. Hotel is in need of updating. This was in a scary part of town did not feel safe with my kids. Wondered if I would wake up and have damage to my vehicle done overnight or car parts removed. Front desk staff sat outside and smoked constantly. They were outside more than they were inside. Every time we came in or out of the hotel, they were not at the desk. They were out front smoking.

Horrible breakfast! Room only had 2 bath towels in it and the chairs in the room had some sort of liquid all over it. This had to be the least clean holiday inn we have ever stayed at.

Uh....NO

Hotel is in a very sketchy area of Columbus, OH. I would not go out in the dark there even to just get in my car. Once I got in my room, I used Door Dash for meals and stayed put. Room needed some maintenance, and had very poor lighting. Staff was, however, very pleasant and helpful.
