The San Francesco hotel lived up to its reviews! It was located off the beaten path from all the hustle and bustle of central Rome. The staff was absolutely delightful, informative, warm and extremely helpful! It was wonderful to walk a block into the heart of the local restaurants and wine bars. Get the breakfast each morning, it’s well worth it!

Our stay did not include breakfast, but it was okay since there were good restaurants near the hotel though the hotel had breakfast bar where you could purchase it. Staff were very kind. Evenings when we come back we needed hot water for tea and other, staff kindled boiled and provided hot water for us. We had our thermos. It was excellent location to go walk to river, and other attractions. Leaving your room key at the front desk every time you go out of the hotel was unusual for us but we got used to it quickly. I guess it takes your trust of the staff. Overall it was an excellent experience.

We loved our stay at the Hotel San Francesco. The entire staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Liz at reception gave us great recommendations, we enjoyed chatting with her. Smiley truly lives up to her name, lovely and helpful. We enjoyed apperitivos at the rooftop lounge and were never disappointed with the food, drinks and service. We appreciated that they offer breakfast since most of our party prefers having a nutritious full breakfast before getting those 10k steps a day. The rooms are clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay in Rome.
