6/10 Good

We stayed on the 6th floor, all we heard were chairs moving around from the rooftop bar. No sleeping until the rooftop closed at 11!
Scott, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Our room had no hot water in the sink and there was an electrical issue were the lamps/ plugs didn’t work on a certain wall. We didn’t call it in because we were only there for one night and basically only slept there a few hours

Great hotel!

Great hotel. Super trendy. Clean. Friendly staff. Rooftop bar and hotel bar with restaurant. Waking distance to a lot of other restaurants as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area
Meghan, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Scam

I was only suppose to be charged a flat rate of $50 for the incidental fee but I was charged an extra $32.74 and they didn’t explain why. I was just told that the manager would correct the issue. I wasn’t allowed to talk to the manager when I requested. The hotel staff acknowledged the extra charge and stated they would correct it, but I was never told what caused the error. Please review all charges because this hotel is not trustworthy.

The hotel was beautiful and breathtaking! The housekeeping staff was warm and welcoming! The housekeeping staff was also very helpful and nice on the 5th floor especially. And the Complicated Pilgrim breakfast food was excellent! The Tiger and Peacock bartender was amazing! I would go there again!
Stephanie, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Food service horrible.
Gary, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great location and the hotel is very lovely. The parking on Saturday night was a little hard since they have a nightclub in the hotel and everyone uses the guest hotel parking. We had to park in the garage behind the hotel and pay again there. The hotel did say they would refund us the nightly parking charge.

10/10 Exceptional

I moved away from Memphis but both my parents live there still. So every time I come now I stay NO WHERE but the Memphian. And each time its been great. The staff are friendly. The man who works shift at night, who I believe is a manager, helped me park in a good place. He did not have to do that plus have a smile doing it!. @20 STARS SERVICE!!!!
keith, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beautiful hotel, terrible parking

Beautiful hotel! Not a lot of interaction with staff but they seemed sufficiently helpful. The parking was a problem however. Although signs say that parking is only for overnight guests that's clearly not enforced. We could not find parking Saturday night bc of all the club/restaurant goers, and the public lot behind the hotel lot was full and did not feel safe. That was the only downside to an otherwise great stay.
2-night trip

2/10 Poor

We arrived late but called ahead to let them know. Checked in and went to room to find a couple sleeping in the room. Went back to front desk and told them. No surprise, no apology just another key. Possibly the most unprofessional front desk I have ever encountered.
Jeff, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Stylish, not so functional.

First, let me say that the location of this hotel is PERFECT. Thank you for bringing a hotel to midtown, it was much needed. I also love the style of this hotel, but details in the room were just off. I found a few different places where the room hadn't been cleaned or items weren't removed from the prior guest. No bottled water, but bottles provided for tap water from bathroom sink - this is okay because of good Memphis water but still a bit of a yuck factor. Big issue for me was the LOUD street in front of my room even though I was several floors up. Is there zero sound proofing? I didn't get to sleep much at all but I'm a good sleeper. As the whole point of my stay here, I was very unhappy about that. I am a native Memphian and had no idea Memphis was so loud, despite living in midtown most of my adult life. I also wanted to point out that the credit card machine wasn't working properly because of an outage and the front desk people acted like it was my cards. The next morning the lady said "yeah, it was the power" so there was definitely a lack of communication within the hotel also. Look, I love Memphis. I was born at Baptist East. If we want Memphis to do better, we have to be better. I wanted to leave an all-fluff review, but doing that wouldn't allow y'all to fix what's wrong. I will say that I will likely stay in the Hilton near Target next time I come with my husband but would consider staying here again, though it wouldn't be my first choice.
