Clean basic affordable hotel. Neighborhood was a bit rowdy at night but given it was a close walk from Main station, it was good enough.

2/10 Poor

They no longer serve breakfast. In the past this was a highlight of staying at the Topas. The front desk has no set hours. You are emailed a code to get in the building and room. I accidentally left my room without my phone, so I had no way to get back in. Fortunately, a very friendly and helpful employee arrived around 0920 and helped me. Otherwise I would have missed my train. I have stayed periodically at the Topas since 2008, but I probably won’t return.

Good location close to shops and train station. Helpful staff. We didn’t get room that we originally booked and got instead apparent for 4 people. It was nice and spacious, but we had to climb up stairs from 4th to 5th floor.

Good Hotel for Frankfurt Main Station

This is a good hotel for Frankfurt Main Station. It's less than a 5 minute walk away. The price was very reasonable. It's a no frills place, but the room was clean with decent amenities. Breakfast was reasonable.

Good for a night

A good choice for a stop-off in Frankfurt before journeying on. Very close to the Hauptbahnhof. Staff were friendly. Single room was small but clean and well maintained. Good German style breakfast.
